I do believe, now after DOMS and muscle recovery, it's a good time to fast. 36 hours, maybe with the occasional zero-sugar energy drink.

Just wondering, do any females visit this board, or is it just the guys that get into this stuff?

You guys have any references for dealing with binge eating disorder? I've looked in the catalog and haven't been able to find what I'm looking for. It's a pretty rough illness that takes a lot more than just 'stop doing it' like drugs, since you HAVE to eat. Advice? Stories? References?

Thanks guys!

Overeaters Anonymous (OA.org) is a group that deals with binge eating. There are lots of chapters around the USA: http://oa.org/find-a-meeting/

> Overeaters Anonymous is a Fellowship of individuals who, through shared experience, strength, and hope, are recovering from compulsive overeating. We welcome everyone who wants to stop eating compulsively.

> There are no dues or fees for members; we are self-supporting through our own contributions, neither soliciting nor accepting outside donations. OA is not affiliated with any public or private organization, political movement, ideology, or religious doctrine; we take no position on outside issues.

> Our primary purpose is to abstain from compulsive eating and compulsive food behaviors and to carry the message of recovery through the Twelve Steps of OA to those who still suffer.

It was a huge help for me. Give it a shot OP, you have nothing to lose.

Stretch after your workouts. More flexibility and you don't even up with a sore body the next day. Don't get lazy or you'll get sorer and sorer until you can't do anything until you take a couple or more days off.

And to fix phone/tablet/desk job hunch, lay on your stomach with your chest propped up on a couple pillows (or if you have one of those lounge pillows with the little arms, flip it over like a wedge) while you read, watch TV, etc.

Basically do the opposite of the posture you have all day, stretching the front of your body (abs, hips) and restoring your back's arch. For your desk/office chair, instead of sitting forward, put your ass at the back of the seat with a slight recline so your shoulders are back and your hips open more than 90 degrees.

And of course deadlift, row, and in general do at least as much pulling as pushing.

I grew up playing rollerhockey. Skating is a lot fun(if you have a good surface for it easily available to you) and doing cardio you enjoy makes a big difference because it's easier to stick to it. It does do a number on your feet if you're not used to it though.

I'm on the full rollar work out and it's doing wonders.

Basically you attach Rollars to each limb and try to make your way around at least 4 city blocks, for me it's fairly decent but I often have to do push flexes (Where you move more like a dog than a horse in your four legged rollar moves)

You got this but do not make the same mistake I did when trying to lift and Rollar. TAKE THEM OFF YOUR HANDS FIRST. I only made this mistake once but will never forget.

Anyone here looked in to weighted clothing at all? Vests, gloves, ankle weights, shit like that? I'm digging the idea of just walking around doing my daily life and making gains that way in addition to everything else.

So far the heaviest weighted vest I've found easily available online was 150 lbs but was nearly 500 dollars, seems excessive for what it is, found another that maxed out at 140 pounds and goes for around 250, so I'm wondering if anyone has looked in to this and has any suggestions, info, or anything of the like on this topic.

Incidentally also found this vest that purports to have a 225 pound max by putting barbell plates on, but I'm looking for something less bulky to wear all the time.

Here are the links to all three I talked about in order of mention in case anyone is curious

I simply love training, the idea of improving your physical aptitudes by slowly working on them daily is one of my favorite things about life. One of the things I try to keep always in my training is the ability to adapt to any situation and equipment, always train with what you have, don't be limited by anything.

Agreed. I think the best and most satisfying form of superiority is being superior to your former self. It's amazing waking up and doing something you've never dreamed of being able to do a few years ago, being more flexible and stronger than you imagined you could be. Sleeping and waking up better and being more and more proud when you look at yourself in the mirror before a shower.

I love training, too. Nothing like making strides and getting stronger.

Since we're on the subject, I'll share a recent joy. I've been lifting for around 15 years, but I've got a lot of weird hip/leg issues (from birth, had surgery as a kid) I've had to accommodate so only in the last year have I really perfected my squat form. Like finally got that shit where everything's going exactly how it should, heels on the ground, knees not going in, no butt winking, all that stuff. It took years of daily stretching and doing other movements to strengthen/lengthen the tendons in certain areas and even going to physical therapy but I finally am doing it. My legs and ass have never been better. Going to the gym tomorrow for squat day and I'm so excited.

>strategy trumps power basically every time

If you mean the gun or knife strategy, sure.

>small women techniques

If you mean the gun or knife strategy, sure. You can knee the groin and gouge the eyes, but that is quite minimal fucking skill.

You know I was writing greater than or equal to, right? I have a better one.

Power >= Intent to Fuck You Up (Aggression, Spirit, Intent, Focus) >= Durability = Fitness or Athleticism >= Skill

It's not an entirely hardset equation, as a strong enough person against someone with a glass body can be shattered, but generally speaking power leads to durability and capacity to maul a person (aggression, intent, foucs). If you have a glass jaw or something, the jaw and neck needs to be strengthened.

It's a pyramid. You don't have to be fucking huge, you have to be strong. Bruce Lee could do quite a bit in fucking someone up.

Why do you bring up concealed carried weapons when someone is specifically asking about martial arts? Obviously you can carry a gun but that's not the question being asked here.

Do you tell people to just buy a car when they ask how to run faster?

Have you even considered escalation of force? If you're in a fistfight and you pull a gun, now you're in a gunfight.

p.s. Training to rely on a weapon to defend yourself means that you can be caught offguard without your weapon, I would think that would be obvious.

lop off a limb. If that doesn't sound nice just do the bear-diet, eat nothing but fish and fruits you'll melt the fat away but also feel like a stringy energy-deprived faggot.

because the body tends to turn carbs directly into fat if the carbs aren't used. If you're eating alot of carbs then sleeping immediately, all you're doing is converting them pretty much instantly into fat cells because you're not using those carbs.

Also GOMAD (Gallon of milk a day), maybe not a whole gallon but whatever. Afaik milk will let you keep your muscles while you lose your body fat.

Legit way - normal diet (no soda, beer, fast-food) and a lot of running and walking.

Getting sick works too, Used that as an opportunity way back when, not on purpose though.

Oh and drop psychiatric meds, if you're on them.

Do research though.
