Where does the energy for your workout come from, /fit/? Is your heart powered by love? Is it powered by anger? Pride? A sense of duty?

My testosterone is more of the fighting variety. When I workout, I don't REALLY feel pumped until I start fantasizing about beating the shit out of and curb-stomping the people who make this world hell. Even though it's something I'll probably never do, it feels nice to know that I at least physically dominate the people who I hate and will become something they fear.

Lost 100 lbs. in a little less than a year doing calisthenics poorfag I hated being a tub of lard and worked to fix this. at 225 lbs and 6'3" so there's still some work to be done but definitely a self-hatred and desire to improve must be present, as well as ignoring/disregarding outside thoughts if you're of the anxious type like I was. Stoic philosophy helps a lot with that.

So my results just came back positive. I'm gonna blame the influx of non-lurking newfaggots that flooded 8ch before it died for giving this gift to me; there's only so much "cringe" and "seethe" you can take seeing per thread before your body starts to break down. Between this bullshit and corona laying everyone off, I can't make rent this month and we're pretty much fucked for the next one, too.

The good news out of this is that you now have your own personal test subject to try out all those weird, bullshit semi-credible ideas and advice you have for people with cancer. I'm talking to people like the baking sodafags, you know who you are. As long as it's something that doesn't further fuck up my limited functionality and that I can do with what little I have in my house, I'll try it out and report results. The closest thing to packaged food I normally eat is yogurt and cheese, and I always make sure nothing's been added. None of my meat is processed, aside from some smoked stuff on occasion (actual smoke, not chemical). I can't afford to move/am tied to other people, and was very physically active before all this; my job never let you sit either. I did everything right. It only stopped when financial restrictions made it so I had to choose between rent and food win -30C, and I'm not the only one under this roof. I did what I had to do to bring some currency in.

It's an effort to do much of anything right now because the tumors suck all your energy away. It's like staying up for 4 days and running non-stop, and then no matter how much you sleep you don't feel rested again. You just wake up the same as you went to sleep, sometimes worse. The only upside to all of this virus drama is that I spent a bunch of cash I can't really afford on the foods I used to eat before I had to go cheap carb city and shit hit the fan.

Sleep on the floor and not some soft bed. This'll force you to use muscles that are normally relaxed while you sleep, and it'll realign your back; and everything else, into the proper place. Sleeping on the floor is extremely good for your back, and numerous people have reported it has cured their back pain. It's also good for your posture due to regaining proper alignment.

At first it might hurt, because those muscles just aren't being used. Put a pillow under your knees to lessen the arch in your lower back, if required. You may or may not need a pillow for your head. If the floor is too hard, put down a thin mattress or some blankets.

You bring your arms out in the shape of a goal post, bring them back till you feel tension in your back, do this about 15 - 20 times every 1-2 hours, depending on how bad it is. You can do planks, side planks, hanging from a bar and making a bow position to emphasize tension on your back. You can place both your hands on the back of your neck (not overlapping), and cup the sides of your neck, then you bring your head back slowly while maintaining your hands in that position, the point is to tighten the trapezius and splenius capitus, this will help strengthen your neck and help your head maintain erect posture (don't overdo it, because you can hurt yourself or work the bones in your neck too much, limit this to no more than 8-10 times in one sitting and wait an hour or two to try it again, be careful, be aware of your pain limit). You can also stretch your splenius capitus to the left and right in between that exercise (without your hands) to strengthen from other angles. You can also stand up straight against a wall, and this is a much safer method than the rest, just stand there straight for 30 minutes 2 times a day, every day, until you see results. Or you can try what the other anon suggested and sleep on the floor. And finally, if all else fails, you can buy a shoulder back support belt.

I'm not a professional, this is just what has worked for me in the past. With varying levels of success depending on how often you do it.

2. breathe into my throat, every time I take a full breath (diaphragm, chest, then throat) I end up sitting/standing up straight

There are two methods

A.) the safest and more proven way to have a longer banana is mirco-tearing. Agree that core strength is important to support other types of strength, it's just not going to have immediate/noticeable effects for a beginner, because it doesn't make you sprout abs.

Newbies would be better served by starting a basic lifting plan built around the Big 3 or Big 4, with cardio after to get endurance up and shed fat. No weird accessory work or tai bo crossfit zumba crap that tries to mix cardio and strength.

Bench press day with chest flies, incline press, tricep extensions/pushdowns, etc. Squat day with leg extensions, calf raises, leg presses, etc. Overhead press day with shoulder raises, arnold DB presses, etc. Deadlift day with DB rows, lat pulldowns, shrugs, etc.

3-5 sets of 6-10 reps, big lift first, increase the weight once you're at the upper numbers to force your reps back down. Then hit the treadmill, rowing machine, or bike for a half hour.

Yeah you would need to focus overwhelmingly on both high strength lifts and high volume. More of everything pretty much. More variety, more weight, more volume. If you can manage that you can grow like a mf.

Time under tension, variety between workouts and sets, high weight everything, low weight for a long time under tension with higher reps + variety within the set itself, high frequency, and high volume. You may worry about the volume, but you have to FORCE the growth with your build. That makes you the better athlete, really. Make sure to include plenty of rotations and small muscle exercises – working out for 2 hours everyday, and doing stuff at home like dynamic isometrics and small muscle exercises (again). You have to develop literally each muscle, on its own, low rest between sets and exercises.

Dude who cares? Yes absolute strength is tied to muscle cross sectional area which is harder at 6'5 than 5'6, but you'll still be able to throw on significant amounts of muscle if you lift hard.

So your somewhat skinnier biceps and triceps will still have a lot of muscle overall. You'll have advantages in reach, grip, and overall work you can do.

Another way to look at it is that while someone under 6' may be able to fill out more quickly, they'll reach a point where they're just a bulky ball of muscle. For you that point might be 40 pounds heavier.

My manlet friends are always nervous and compensate with aggressiveness to the point of being obnoxious or difficult to socialize with.

One of them talked about it and described it as walking in a crowd where nearly everyone was taller than him or at face level, he felt like it hit his self-confidence at all times.

Now that we are older they developed into two groups.

>1 Got used to it and can communicate normally, compensation phase is over. They have went out and experimented a lot with all sort of hobbies so now they just about tons of stuff

>2 Keep to themselves and advance in life slowly and steadily. Avoid large gatherings and keep a few close friends of any size. Do not seem to care as much anymore.

>3 Became overly social but prone to backstabbing at every opportunity. Look for ways to get others to do work for them, completely inept at physical labor or repulsed by it. Pretend to be intellectual but really super primal.

>4 Still to this day super aggressive verbally and prone to fits of rage, but overall not really dangerous physically. Self-confidence born of putting others down at all times.

Truly the path of the manlet is not easy. As far as I am concerned either the experienced ones or the ones who keep to themselves are ok. Those hyper-agressive or backstabbing manlets are just a pain to work/do group activities with.

Most gyms are going to be closed, and those that aren't are going to be petri dishes with the amount of sweat and other bodily fluids covering everything so those are a no-go. Stores are going to gradually run dry of all the essential foods for a diet. How are you going to keep your gains up and your lifts strong when you have nothing to eat/lift? While I don't have a home gym, I do have a treadmill and a few pieces of equipment to do more "serious" calisthenics, so I'll at least have something to do until quarantine is lifted. My gym is also closed I believe. At the moment my plan is to just do light, spaced exercise throughout the day. So every couple hours I'll do an easy set of squats, some pullups and chinups, decline pushups, situps, neck curls. maybe dips as well. and a couple of minutes on the jump rope between working on other things.

I've heard it called "greasing the groover" which to me sounds stupid, but whatever. I'm at home all day so rather than exercising in a single window of time I just plan to do it spaced out.

Fasting, we've all heard about it, it supposedly works by naturally increasing ketone body production by limiting insulin, but apparently Coconut oil, because it's made of medium chain triglycerides, gets broken down into Ketones immediately, so I feel pretty confident recommending it as a replacement for any butter or oil you might still be ingesting, though I doubt it's total potency, so I made this thread to remind myself to post later on the long term effects of oil if there's any.

If you live in hot climate where there's coconuts, it's easier to make your own coconut oil that is literally an oil not a that white chunk of lard.

You will need shavings of coconut, pressed so you extract the coconut milk, machine pressed makes more of this but you can try with your hands, strain it so you get the pure and top milk.

Once you have the coconut milk you can then proceed to fry it over a wide pan since we are drying this up to the oil eliminating water content,

Just let it boil. It becomes semi thick milk which is perfect for coffee.

Even longer it becomes somewhat chunky and tasty, and you will notice there's oil build up which will fry the coconut milk chunks.

Even longer and you get brown crystals which taste somewhat good, you can collect these as a snack but be careful as these easily burn up and taste bad when browned too much!

Now transfer those and you are left with literally free-flowing oil consistency coconut oil which also smells good. It would last longer if you again fry the collected oil to eliminate any water traces, use a new pan as there might be leftovers of those chunks on the one you used.

This can last very long and stored while under hot climate but keep it under room temperature and away from sunlight. I usually store them in the fridge so I can just scoop up easily for my coffee.

I don't know about those thick coconut oils but they look like cold-pressed and have fillers and possibly paraben and other beauty product kind of shit added.

So I read up that coconut oil can help with hemorrhoids, and since my asshole has bled off and on for the last fifteen years I figure I'd give it a shot. I've had a particularly bad case the last few days so I've been putting about a tablespoon-sized suppository of coconut oil up my bum the last few days and… It's surprisingly worked pretty well. The biggest issue is obviously that it acts as an analgesic so I've gotta be extra careful when wiping if I have to shit within two or three hours of application. The other big issue is that if you don't get it pretty far up there with a medical glove, it tends to leak out a sort of "biofilm" of coconut oil and whatever stank is about ready to come out your ass a half hour after application. I recommend about a middle finger's worth of distance up your butt if you decide to use coconut oil to treat hemorrhoids, and to apply it after taking a shit.

I also read something about it being good for testosterone, so I've been slathering my dick/balls in oil the last few days as well. I've been feeling more energetic and capable of completing challenges with more willpower which is usually a sign of a test booster for me, but on the flip side I have basically no sex drive. I think it's that analgesic property of coconut oil I mentioned. Like, you get the urge to fap real bad when your dick is covered in coconut oil, but about two or three minutes into fapping, and suddenly you can't keep your dick hard to save your life. This might be a good application of coconut oil for those practicing nofap since you lose feeling in your dick relatively quickly after application and it keeps everything moisturized down there (plus coconut oil has antimicrobial properties so it's probably protecting your dick too).

/fit/ is probably the last place to ask about this. There is no cure for any virus period, this is biology 101 dude. In terms of vaccinations, it's impossible because there's too many strains mutating too quickly for an effective vaccine to be made. As a general rule of thumb:

No, there isn't a cure yet. This strain is pretty new and they're working on it, but just sitting around eating eggs isn't going to magically cure it. Here's some advice from the virologist who actually demonstrated the number of genes in coronaviruses. I thought his list was more widespread now and that everyone saw it since he got a little pissy about people sharing it so I'll paraphrase; it was originally for his friends and family, then some nurses threw it on social media. It's James Robb MD, if you care. I've added amounts based on my own household usage because apparently people are retarded and think they need 10 cases of hand disinfectant when 1 pump will last them like 2 months if they're not going out multiple times per day. If you don't want to catch it, leave some disinfectant for other people so they can also remove it and slow the spread.

Prevention:
