بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

This board is the 8chan Masjid and should be treated as such. It is a place for Muslims to gather and discuss Islam and not intended as a place where Muslims must defend themselves or their religion from outsiders. If you would not do it in a real mosque in the real world, then don't do it here.

Controversial topics of discussion are permitted, but deliberate trolling/baiting and personal attacks will not be tolerated. /pol/-like behavior can stay on /pol/.

ATTACK THE ARGUMENT, NOT THE POSTER

For the purposes of this board, and until otherwise proven absolutely haram, tasteful non-lewd images of people, nature, and animals will be allowed.

We are not for the comparison of the various world's religions. There are many, many other boards for that. Use them.

Here is the official word concerning this board and discussion of ISIS:

You may: (These things are within the realm of the First Amendment)

1] Express admiration for them.

2] Express hatred for them.

3] Discuss their history, politics, and current events..

You may not: (These are potentially criminal acts that will gain the attention of law enforcement)

1] Encourage people to join them.

2] Encourage people to declare allegiance to Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi (lol dead).

3] Encourage people to donate money or provide links to do so.

4] Encourage people to commit acts of violence or treason against the people of the United States or its allies.

We need to take steps to ensure our privacy. Do not let them pull the "if you've got nothing to hide" card; that's like saying we don't need freedom of speech because "I have nothing to say." I have nothing to hide. I am not a terrorist nor am I interested in helping terrorists, but my emails and such are mine and I refuse to lay down and let the government walk all over my freedoms. So, if they want to exploit me, I'll make them work for it. So should you.

Questions That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread:

Post all such questions here. I'll start with a few of my own.

As a non-Muslim (non-religious period) I wonder about the notion that God (Allah) "wants" things from us. "Wanting" to me feels like it implies a kind of inferior state, as though one was lacking something. Does Allah "want" things from mankind? To follow certain rules perhaps? Or is it not a matter of "wanting" but something else?

That's the thing though this is my first time trying to grow a beard. I've not been shaving for too long and do it once/twice a month at most. Is there a reason my skin gets so bad other than the beard (or bad beard/skin care) or do I just have bad skin? None of my patriarchs in family have ever had beards and i inherited my father's sensitive skin so i couldnt really ask them for tips. Has any brother here had a similar experience or am I just doomed to very unhealthy skin with a beard? My family are non-muslim for reference.

When Hazrat Umar learnt of a group of people drinking alcohol and justifying it by the Qu'ran, he gave the order that if they think it is permissible to drink alcohol, they should be executed. If not, they should receive 80 lashes.

Keeping this in mind, in a state governed by Sharia, are all Shias, Ahmedis etc. supposed to be given the death penalty?

that is quite a great thing you have there. Very well done. I am an outsider to this board, but recently have soft supported your religion on halfcuck here and there. Mocking those who are part of this feminized western retard sphere. And making sure that the virtue that you posses is not attacked by the swine that much.

I am a gender realistic, fascist/natsoc dude, but going through gender realism I have found that even our majority of western constructs are faulty of sorts. For they are feminized. So I wondered. Any if you wish to know my standpoint? For I think it may be a great opportunity to reach what we both want, an actual, patriarchal traditionalist society.

On top of this, it is forbidden for men to see a women in privacy or without her mahram relatives, which is stated by the Prophet Muhammad (may peace be upon him):

>"Do not visit the women whose husbands are away from home, because Satan circulates in one of you like blood" (tirmizi)

(a mehram is basically anyone whom it is permanently forbidden to marry because of blood ties, marriage ties or breastfeeding, so for example: your mum)

To top that up, there is a tradition from Jabir where the Prophet Muhammad (may peace be upon him) states:

>"Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should never visit a woman when alone unless she has a mahram relative also present, because the third one would be Satan" (Ahmad)

Furthermore:

>“When a man and woman are alone together, Satan is the third.” [Tirmidhi]

I don't think it gets any more clear, but let's continue.

There is a hadith where the Prophet Muhammad (may peace be upon him) states:

>"No man should visit the other woman when she is alone unless she has a mahram also present, and no woman should travel alone unless accompanied by a mahram" (Bukhari)

The definition of a mehram is basically

Its very clear that if a man wants to communicate with a women, there has to be a mehram present.

Let's go further.

There was an incident where men and women were walking side by side in a crowd, of which then the Prophet Muhammad (maPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

It is generally agreed that opposite genders shouldn't be interacting with each other, unless there is a necessity, and such interaction should be purposeful and professional. If interaction with non-mehrams are done needlessly (such as for fun, enjoyment, making friends, so on) then it is considered zina of tongue and ears as backed up by the Prophet Muhammad (may peace be upon him):

>“The son of Adam’s share of zina has been decreed for him, which he will inevitably get. The zina of the eyes is looking, the zina of the ears is listening, the zina of the tongue is speaking, the zina of the hands is touching, and the zina of the foot is walking. The heart longs and wishes, and the private part confirms that or denies it.” (muslim)

To be staring at non-mehram women is zina of eyes.

Doesn't get anymore clear than that.

Allah knows best

>Except you've only talked about a man and a woman being alone together.

No i haven't, and I'll explain why

>That's not applicable to the telegram chats. According to Imam Malik a wife can for example sit and dine together with her husband and his male friends. Do they not talk with each other then?

you've already contradicted yourself lmao. you mentioned how she's with her HUSBAND in front of those male friends. she's not allowed to be at front of them WITHOUT her HUSBAND because her husband is her mehram. on telegram you don't see women with their husbands now, do you?

and also, i suggest you actually quote imam malik and see how he backs up his quote with the quran and hadith. did he even mention the etiquette of how the wife should be at front of them? you can't freely socialise between genders in islam.

now we got that out of the way:

1) quran 24:30-31 clearly states that both genders are to lower their gaze. you are NOT lowering your gaze in online mixed group.

2) this is further backed up with the hadith where the prophet Muhammad (may peace be upon him) turned Ali's (may Allah be pleased with him) head away when he had his gaze set on a women. in have your gaze SET in online groups, especially seeing how much people openly show their face with filters and makeup in these groups

3) the prophet Muhammad (may peace be upon him) enforced gender separation. why would this be necessary if they can apparently freely mix now?

>It is not proper for you to walk in the middle of the road; walk on the sides" of which then the women started to walk along the walls (Abu Daud).

4) this verse:

"Do not go near [non-Mahram] women.” A person inquired: “What about in-laws?” The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless Post too long. Click here to view the full text.

I've began converting to Islam recently and I wanted to ask some questions.

My life scheduled has be doing important work during some of the prayer times. What exactly do I do for prayers I'm not able to do?

I'm doing what I can to pray at the right times, but some I'm late to doing, mostly the morning one. What suggestions do y'all have for helping me pray at the right times?

Where can I get a prayer rug?

You need to adjust your schedule to fit Allah's, not the other way around. Don't look for loopholes.

Do your best to uphold your duties. Islam recognize the purity of your intent. If you're genuinely to do things the way you are supposed to but something you can't help stops you, do your best, you can pray some prayers together for example (other anons, imams or websites might know better about the specifics of how and when to do it).

What really matters to Allah is what's in your heart, usually it's immediately reflected in your deeds, but when under external duress, he gave us more than a way to adapt.

Do your work environment allow you to take small breaks every now and then?

If so, then just request a break whenever you can to go perform salah. You could also keep the prayers short by only reciting the compulsory recitations.

I want to convert to Islaam, but the Prophet Mohammed's (PBUH) pedophilia and the camel urine drinking is still a huge turn-off for me. Have you guys ever tasted camel urine? It doesn't smell very good and my doctor says it's unhealthy, but a Muslim friend of mine says it tastes just like fox urine which you can buy in bottles here in Canada.

Anyways, I really appreciate your help, because I've only recently taken an interest in Islaam and I don't know very much about it.

2. There is no obligation to drink urine.

3. Concern troll, be gone.

Why would you guys believe in it ?? i simply cannot swallow the concept of hell!

why some people deserve hell for nothing , for simply refusing to believe in allah ??

why would an infinite being punish people for disagreeing with him??

is that even rational ??

i am afraid of hell to be honest, i see no one deserving it, even hitler.

>[This] is a place for Muslims to gather and discuss Islam and not intended as a place where Muslims must defend themselves or their religion from outsiders.

The idea of "controversial topics" is more along the lines of controversy among Muslims concerning points of fiqh. WE are allowed to argue among ourselves about points of Islam. YOU may sit quietly and listen.

well, checks out.

I believe in hell because it's reflected in real life. If you don't study for your test you're going to fail, right? same with real life.

Also, whether hell is eternal is up to God.

Imagine this.

>Infinite God creates an entire universe he doesn't need.

>Designs gravity, the sun, the galaxies, everything on Earth and inbetween

>raises a creation literally worthless to Him, and give it bounty beyond measure in the form of eyesight, hearing, taste, smell, and touch

>He allows His creation to see the stars, to taste his wife's lips, to taste fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy, and all mixtures there of with ingredients from literally around the globe

>He allows His creation ease in the modern world never before seen in the history of man except for literal emperors

>He allows His creation to breath every time it twitches a muscle and its eyesight to return every time it blinks

>His creation almost never thinks about the favors bestowed upon it

>His creation never ponders the incomprehensible balance and near perfect unchangeability in all things

>His creation shrugs denies belief because potential accountability of its actions and failure or outright refusal to give even meek thanks in the end

Feel deserving yet?

if it makes no sense for there to be no god because everything that exists has to be created doesn't that mean god needs to be created? but who created god

if god created himself that means it's not true that something needs to be created by something else to exist. so the world can created itself or it can have always existed

if you were born anywhere else you would have grown up believing their religion. including your own. at the end of the day the reason you believe in your religion is that's the one you were taught. doesn't it seem like a waste of time?

I wasn't raised on the alhus sunnah understanding of Islam. And I was on the verge of apostast in my teens because if lying hyppcrites like you. So no. I'm not just a muslim because my parents taught me Islam.

Leave tassafuw for now. Read the main text the Quran and then some book on the aqeedah or doctrine of the Sunni Orthodoxy. Once you've actually begun to believe in them and practice them. Then you turn to tassawuf.

Atleast that's how the sufis would do it. But if you want to be typical /pol/ then you can abandon the crux of Islam and go straight to the insane ramblings part.

If you want, you can look for online debates about the Five Ways and proofs of God, but of course, it's more catholic than Islam

God is outside time and space, which is a creation of his. What is outside time and space is an irrelevant question, as it will never be fathomed by human beings.

How does one go around disproving evolution? I might get into an argument with an atheist this week. I already told him that if you think evolution disproves God you're an idiot and he might want to argue with me when we meet again next.

I am not sure I follow your "logic"…

Are implying god is not a single cell organism?

How would you know that?
