Millions of Americans are out of work due to the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic. Thousands more are unemployed because of President Joe Biden's decision to cancel the Keystone XL Pipeline. Despite the tough times, progressive Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) believes "now is the right time" for Congress to press forward with a $15-an-hour minimum wage, something they tied to the latest COVID relief package.

According to Khanna, Amazon and Target made a decision to raise their minimum wage to $15-an-hour across the nation. As a result, Khanna says, the companies have produced more jobs (yet he doesn't take into account that more people are shopping online due to lockdown restrictions and the pandemic).

The most concerning aspect, however, is Khanna knows pushing up the minimum wage would be detrimental to small businesses, yet he doesn't care.

>>"Businesses like Amazon and McDonald's, for example, can and perhaps should, pay more, but I'm wondering, what is your plan for smaller businesses?" CNN's Abby Phillip asked. "How does this, in your view, affect mom and pop businesses who are just struggling to keep their doors open, keep workers on the payroll right now?"

>>"Well, they shouldn't be doing it by paying people low wages," Khanna replied. "We don't want low-wage businesses. Most successful small businesses can pay a fair wage."

According to the congressman, if workers were paid for their productivity, they would be making $23-an-hour.

>>"I love small businesses. I'm all for it but I don't want small businesses that are underpaying employees," he said. "It's fair for people to make what they're producing and I think $15 is very reasonable in this country."

When asked whether or not progressives were prepared to compromise on COVID relief and remove the $15 minimum wage, Khanna retorted by saying moderates should be the ones compromising.

If you can't afford to pay your workers AT LEAST 15 an hour, then you don't have the right to own a business, and you should go out of business. Even 15 an hour is too fucking low, if minimum wage kept up with inflation, it should be like 25 an hour. Small businesses should be put out of business, so that we can finally start getting UBI. Small business is the enemy of progress

Well, here we go!

ENJOY!

As far as actually being able to find content like this… Good luck with that. I guess you're one of the lucky ones, to have run into the content on this channel! (Maybe a little support?)

It is getting ridiculously difficult to get content off of EewwwToob.

If you didn't know what you were missing, or that much of the material on EewwwToob is not what it says it is, you would have no idea what a CENSORED HELLHOLE EewwwToob really is nowadays. Disgusting. That is why I have decided to turn my entire life (and this channel) into doing my part to help destroy Joogle, and all other Corporate power structures that act like that.

The amount of tricks and nefarious practices that companies like [Alphabet Inc.](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alphabet_Inc.) engage in is hardly surprising, considering all the [Alphabet Agencies](http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-17-intelligence-agencies-20170112-story.html) they are involved with, and the greedy power-hungry psychopaths, like Bill Gates, that they are in league with. Don't even get me started.

Suffice it to say that their tricks to hide & tarnish truth, while brainwashing everyone into their evil narratives, attempting to lead Everyone into Eternal Slavery, WILL NOT WORK! Be of good cheer, andSTAND UP!Do not cower under their seemingly inexhaustible power. Their power is dependent on YOU. You gonna continue to support them?

Well, I AM NOT.

In fact, this channel will soon be devoted to the Process of "UnGoogling" and the Creation of Privacy Tools.

I have no time to explain how messed up the entire internet is getting nowadays, (do you even Tor?) or how screwed up EewwwToob is in particular; but I can direct your attention to this EewwToob channel (which I run into a lot), as a small example of the weirdness out there in relation to finding the content you are looking for, and the lengths that are gone to in order to Obfuscate the TRUTH…

[Huong Le TV](http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYCg0e6Yy3KbOID9Jam_boA/videos)

Tell me something nefarious isn't going on with that channel!

Anyone who uses `youtube-dl` regularly can tell you that even weirder things are going on with EeewToob lately!

They literally think and act like they own the content, while arguing that they don't own the content, so they can't be sued!

Anyway…

try thinking about it like this

"If your boss can't afford to pay you $15 an hour you don't deserve to have a job."

this is going to automate most minimum wage jobs leading to more unemployment.

Most small businesses are going to fire peoples and just work the business with family.

this will put millions out of work, but the democrats havent cared about workers since Carter.

So you desire corporate monopolies running everything, and no competition? Because that is exactly what would happen. You'd have the choice between Walmart or Amazon. Apple or Microsoft.

I'm not debating you about the minimum wage issue, it's sad to see people not being able to get by today, but that's mostly thanks to inflation caused by massive growing debt insolvency and corporate bailouts (thanks a lot big government!!) Debt insolvency = devaluation of currency = price inflation. If we simply kept the debt under control, you wouldn't see nearly as much inflation, meaning wages and salaries would actually be worth more today, the value of your savings wouldn't be so devalued.

This is something the communists simply refuse to teach in modern economics classes sadly.

The liberal cities are free to do what they want, and often do exactly that. However, rural America is also free too, to do what we want. I don't see that as a problem, I see that as fair. Maybe it's the major leftist cities that need to secede? I would agree with you on one thing, there does need to be a peaceful divorce in this country, with conservatives going their own way, and liberals going theirs. The best way to do this would be to declare cities as their own states. Each state could then decide their own laws and regulations and tax rates and policies. Then everyone could be happy.

MY COMMENT: This was the plan and agenda all along, remember, they want endless wars and mass population reduction!!! They want UN Agenda 21 aka "A Great Reset" (their own words), total State control over all resources!!! That of-course would mean harsh rationing of commodity and a depleted third world lifestyle!! They know damn well that would create enemies!!! They know damn well the terrorism and wars that would follow such horrific policy, BUT REMEMBER: THIS IS THEIR PLAN!!! The communist despots in power want this to become all of our future and they are openly prepping for this!!!!

Agreed. Small businesses charge MORE than big corporations and the quality is worse too. Sorry but small business is a concept that has to die off for social and economic progress. The retards ITT defending small businesses are the same kind of retards who said "cars will put the horse and carriage industry out of business". Time to evolve, faggots!

I'm glad I liquidated my savings into rural property, hard assets, tools and livestock. Very glad.

Okay and how is that gonna help you put food on the table? Rural livestyles fucking suck, I mean the peace and quiet is nice but anyone raised in a city cannot really adjust to a rural lifestyle. It's a fools dream to think otherwise

It's called homesteading. Gardening. Hunting. Fishing. Raising and breeding livestock for food. When you have a couple of roosters and a dozen chickens you'll be having anywhere from 12 to 20 fresh eggs per day. You can let some of them hatch into chicks, for more eggs in the future. When they get old, about three to four years after their prime, you can use them for meat. There are plenty of places to buy baby chicks out in rural areas, you can even get them ordered online and shipped to you if you desire doing so. But you can breed rabbits for meat too, goats, cows, hens and turkey or whatever. If you have a decent amount of acreage you can also have multiple big gardens, one for tomatoes, one for potatoes, one for herbs, one for peppers, one for squash, etc etc. The trick with gardening is knowing how to properly store the food to make it last. Canning, jarring, freezing or freeze drying it. I'll take my tomatoes and make massive batches of tomato soup stock out of it, then I put the tomato soup stock in big thick bags and freeze them. I'll pull some out every winter to make tomato soup. Heck, I've been doing that before I moved to a rural homestead back when I used to live in town.

As for water you could get well water, or for emergencies rain water collection as long as you properly purify and filter the water after purification. Or an atmospheric water generator, there is that option as well.

What's more? Wood burning stove saves money during the winter with a very cheap energy source that has been used for ages. 500 gallon propane tank with a 20kw propane generator would power up a whole homestead off-grid for emergencies. Solar panels is another option to consider.

The trick is to find a strategic location that is affordable. Taxes will be cheap, many rural areas have little to no regulations, but if it's really nice property that would be where the cost kicks in.

One more thing to get used to if you ever move rural, you will have to have a big fire pit to burn your trash. No trash pickup when you get really far out. And the internet? Slow as shit satellite.

HAve you actually tried any of those things? Becoming self sufficient or off the grid is basically impossible. Even if you succeed in doing those things, you won't be able to psychologically adjust to such a lifestyle. Just accept the fact that we are all in this shit boat together. I've had enough of this tough-guy LARPing bullshit from prepper types. They have zero idea what an actual collapse would look like and if they had any brain, would realize it is not worth surviving it either. Get right with God and trust fully in God

Have I? I have been doing some of those things, yes. Not all. I don't raise rabbits for meat (yet). I do raise chickens. And yes I do garden, and have been growing vegetables for years even when I had a small veggie garden when I lived in town. That's not too hard to do in the right climate although it does involve some labor. I do have a wood burning stove as well a large propane tank and generator for it and invested in solar panels for emergency backup. Have I needed to use solar and propane for emergency? Not so far, fortunately. I still am on the grid (for now). But I do use the wood burning stove in the winter, and that requires gathering up wood, taking the old dead trees down, sawing into logs and chopping them for dry wood to burn in the winter. Yes, that is hard labor but it's something I've been doing for a long long time so I'm used to it.

I do have well water, it requires an electric water pump which is wired up pretty deep down a hole in the ground (surrounded by thick metal pipeline all down the well), I'd say it's likely 200 feet deep. Every 10 to 12 years you'll need to get those pumps professionally replaced, that's not something you can easily do by yourself and it is dirty dirty work. I've been a prepper for a long time, so I already have an Atmospheric water generator although I haven't needed it considering I also have rain water collection too (multiple contingencies are important for survival).

I absolutely have to burn my trash in a big bon fire pit too, that is no joke, once to twice every week. I could let it pile up, but it would start to stink and attract a lot of flies. And in the winter when it gets freezing, you can store the trash outside the home, it won't rot during the winter and you can't smell it. But once it starts getting nice out you best burn it all, quick.

One thing I forgot to mention is you'll want a run-off septic system. This defeats the purpose for having regular septic which is high maintenance and costly. With run-off septic, the waste is simply pushed through the ground via a septic pump and PVC pipes all the way off the property where the waste is dumped into some trench or ditch and decomposes to soil.

It's not impossible to live this way, but I'll tell you the truth, you must be dedicated in prepping and survival and a DIY hobbyist, or else it will be too much a pain in the ass and inconvenience. The difference between our kind, and many others in higher density populations, is that people like me live for this challenge and embrace self-sufficiency. We like prepping and being more independent.
